Welcome to CAPSJohn and Julianna Crowder, owners Capitol Area Practical Shooting, are NRA Certified instructors and licensed with TX DPS as Texas Concealed Handgun License Instructors. We offer a fresh and uplifting approach to the required courses, and promise that you will not have a drab or boring class experience!
We offer classes on a regular schedule in Cedar Park and Fort Hood. We are also available to travel to any location in the state of Texas that you would like to invite us too! Weekday and evening classes are offered periodically or by request. Private classes for groups, organizations, or individuals can be add to the calendar by contacting us for more information.
Beyond the concealed carry course, we also offer firearms training and personal defense seminars. We specialize in the "new shooter" and host a shooting club that welcomes novice to master shooters to develop and practice the defensive mindset, always in a fun and social atmosphere that promotes safety and builds community.
Two of our instructors are women, so safe to say our female perspective is very good and our classes address the issues women have when it comes to all things firearms and other options of self defense. Any of our classes can be held as a "Ladies Only" class by request. |
