It [pistol 1] was a great class, a safe shooting event with patient and encouraging instructors that make it easier for
women to learn new skills while having fun at the same time.
In February, my parents signed me up for a class at Capital Area Practical Shooting. I have always wanted to learn
about guns and go shooting. After the class on Friday night, we went to the shooting range on Saturday. I took my
first shot with a 9mm pistol. My dad told me I might be a little scared but I was not because I learned in training
about many types of guns and how to hold them properly. My first shot was right in the center of the target and it
felt great. As the day continued I was given the opportunity to shoot three different guns. A 9mm, a 22 rifle and a
410 shotgun. I had a great time and have recommended this class to my friends.

First and foremost, I would like to thank You (Julianna) & John for the time and lots of patience for giving and
providing an excellent workshop. The range instruction was awesome. Fast, quick, easy and most of all SAFE. In
the classroom, plenty of space and cozy, specially no worries with regards to the food & facility. Most of ALL, the
class. The classroom instruction was outstanding, very thorough and precise. The questions are all entertained (I
thought that was really important) and answered, off course. We, specially I, left that classroom with no doubts that I
know how to handle different situations, that I do know and understand the responsibility of a CHL holder. I will not
hesitate to recommend you & John to some of my friends. In fact, my wife is interested. Again, thank you and more
power to you & John. EXCELLENT & OUTSTANDING Class.

Wow! What a great experience. I'm gay, I'm democrat, and needless to say; I was extremely nervous about
shooting a gun and taking the course. Not only was I EXTREMELY comfortable, but the instructor made sure we
knew the material and offered unconditional assistance. He was laid back and completely diffused any fears or
